The RYNJ Jaguars came out strong vs. the Noam Knights in RYNJ’s second game of the season and Noam’s first. The Knights opened up the scoring with a hard low shot that came off the stick of their captain, Eli Rothenberg. But the Jaguars bounced back with a power play goal coming from Eli Knapp who snuck it past Noam’s goalie, Jordan Reider. Eli’s goal was assisted by one of RYNJ’s assistant captains, Sariel Rotblat. The first period ended tied at one, and it was anyone’s game. The Jaguars, having all the momentum from Eli Knapp’s goal, struck first in the second. It was a sweet play, and at the end of it, AJ Seplowitz passed it to Noam Kornwasser who banged it home, giving the Jaguars a 2-1 lead. The second period ended with the Jaguars up 2-1. One of the Jaguars captains, Ezra Landa, gave a quick motivational speech about how we have to end the game strong. The Jags once again came out into the 3rd period all energetic and ready to bring home a win. And they sure did. The Jaguars went on to win 3-1. The 3rd and final goal again came off the stick of Noam Kornwasser.

The Jaguars hope to continue their win streak and play great together throughout the season.
